Mark Hagler joined Hankin Patent Law as a Law Clerk in 2021. Prior to joining HPL, Mark had three years of experience in Patent Prosecution and Litigation at a top Intellectual Property Law Firm. Mark now has experience in all aspects of Intellectual Property Law and works on Patent and Trademark Prosecution and Litigation as well as Copyrights and Intellectual Property Licensing.
Mark graduated from Santa Clara University School of Law in May of 2019. Mark was also an Intellectual Property Fellow during his time at Santa Clara and earned his High Tech Law Intellectual Property Specialization Certificate upon graduation.
Mark is well-versed in and has handled various cutting-edge technologies including Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Neural Networks, Telecommunications, Cloud Computing, Cryptography, Automated Vehicles, Fintech, Internet of Things, Gaming, and Quantum Computing, among others. Mark previously worked as an electrical engineer, progressing from writing small programs and tweaking circuits to designing entire hardware systems consisting of multiple boards and coding complex operating systems.
